I haven't been smoking for 2 days so far and when I woke up this morning my mouth was sore. My cheeks and my tongue are raw and sensitive. Is this a usual side effect from not smoking, or do you think it has more to do with the foods I'm eating? I eat what every one else does....cheeseburgers and burritos!

Well in a way it's a better habit than all the other smokers, that usually smoke much much more. Average smokers usually smoke at least 1 pack per day. So your actually doing pretty good, for someone thats "addicted". Im not gonna suggest you stop since you already probably know that. So ye.. gl with your whole smoking thing :D Some advice though.. don't start smoking more just because people are nagging you too!

You should change your eating habits as well. Your body would not miss the smoke in your lungs nor the greasy fat on your body. The sore mouth probably comes from grinding your teeth during sleep.
Stick with the non smoking though...your body will certainly appreciate it. Its reward would be a longer life...that is if you don't get run over by a truck first (smile).
I quit twenty years ago...cold turkey. It was the best thing I ever did for myself.

So can you!

You're probably not drinking enough water and that is not what everyone else eats, eat more fruit and veggies.
