My friend, I have seen some answers here already that stays that you can not become a Christian just because you want help from being abused. I assure you that you can....GOD loves you so very much and often these things happen just to let us know that HE does want to help us. He accepts us just as we are but HE loves us too much to leave us that way.

I have seen many come to the LORD broken and shattered but we have found that shattered lives CAN be put back together again...read the story of Humpty Dumpty below

To answer your question...it seems that your implying that you only want to become a christian so that God will help you out of being abused. but i dont think that you will become a christian its just for the purpose of calling on God when you need help. becoming a christian is beliveing that God is you savior he died for your sins and that he can help you when you pray to him. but just because you ask somthing of him he will not always give it to you because it might not be whats best. but to answer your question...yes if you are a christian God can help you through things like you being abused...but dont expect a somthing super natural...him helping you can be as simple as God giving you the bravery to tell someone that you are being abused so that you can get help!!!

Dear I hate me,

First of let me say that God loves you and your getting abused is not your own fault nor God's. God does not want to see if any of his creation mistreated-- the Bible says that we were fearfully and wonderfully made and that God knew us before we were even formed. God knows every intimate detail about you- the # of tears you've cried, and the # of hairs on your head... He knows you and loves you.

He sent His Son Jesus to die for you so that you could have a relationship with God. God desires a relationship with you. He will help you whether you are a Christian or not- because His heart is against such injustice.

There are places that can help. Try looking up the sheepfold shelter on line... they provide a safe place where people can be protected from abused- and they can teach you more about how to have a relationship with God that will bring joy to your heart.

Kindly,

Nickster

I'm so sorry what's happening to you. I pray you want to be a Christian. Just pray that you accept Christ as your Savior. You should become a Christian because you believe! He will change your life, He really will. Can I ask how old you are? Is there anyone you can go to & tell them about the abuse? You really should. I will be praying for you too!

If you really believed and accepted Jesus he would help you to find peace and joy regardless of your circumstances.
If you are being abused God wouldn't necessarily change your abusers behavior because in order for that to happen he would have to have his own relationship with God.
Jesus would help you to take the steps so that you could get away from him. Jesus would give you the courage and ingenuity to find a way to have a better life because you are not required by God to stay in a place where you are being abused.
If you have faith God will take care of you and supply all your needs. I suggest finding a Pastor of a church who can talk to you about Jesus. Not only can he tell you about God but he can help you find a way to improve or get away from your situation.

You have to truly commit to being Christian for God to help you in anyway. And I do hope you know that he helps spiritually, so don't expect a supernatural occurance. You can't just say you're Christian, and IF He does help you, go back to whatever you were. God forgives and forgets, but only to those who believes.

Oh my, child.....

Lord love you!!!.....

If you are being abused, ask the Lord what you should do... and if you have faith and believe then you shall receive the help you need....

Faith is very important in the Christian faith, my friend.....

But, you have to put forth the effort to do something about it... and once you have put something into motion, you have to believe that you have done all that could be done and the rest is up the God to manifest what you have faith in.......

There is a word which states: "Knock and the door shall be open unto you"......

This means, you have to put forth the effort..... and then doors will open.......

God will take care of the rest.......

Honey, God loves EVERYONE, no matter what. But converting will most certainly help, I think. Pray even BEFORE you become Christian, if you do. And find a priest who you trust, and talk with him. I'll pray for you too! Good luck!
