Dear If Godb4me,
i guess it depends on what you mean by worse.
First we must understand that all sin has consequences so murdering someone isn't quite the same as calling someone in traffic stupid.
The scriptures says that all sins result in separation from God, and we need to repent to be in a right relationship with God. i don't want to Bible-thump you but Romans 1 might be a great chapter to read. It talks about how man chose to worship his own ways and chose the creature over the Creator and so God allowed man to follow their own ways and the result was that they became darkened in their understanding with homosexuality as an example of what can come about when we are left to our own devices. Being gay isn't what makes you "unacceptable" to God- but it's a failure to acknowledge that it's not God's desire for people and it's sin against Him.
There is a wonderful ministry called livingstones that can provide you with a lot more resource and information on it.
i really hope that helps and do feel free to email me if i can provide you with any more information or clarity to this answer...
Kindly,
Nickster

Yes, some sins are worse than others. God isn't blind. This is why GOD handed out DIFFERENT punishments based on DIFFERENT sins in the Old Testament. If it was for the sin of murder or rape, GOD commanded them to be executed. If it was for bearing false witness, then a "less harsh" punishment was given out by GOD. If GOD considered "all" sin to be the "same", then the person who bear false witness would have recieved the SAME punishment as the person who murdered! Everyone recieved DIFFERENT degrees of punishment based on WHICH sin was commited. He is a just GOD, he isn't blind or unfair! Wouldn't that be awful if every judge here on earth viewed "every" crime to be the "same"? A person who stole a candy bar would recieve the SAME punishment as a murderer! And to think, some Christians make GOD out to be an unjust Judge like that!

well since homosexuality violates more than ten commads. the answer to your question is yes. it is considered one of the most dangerous sins, since it includes blastphemy(false wittness) against TheHoly Spirit. and since it is also considered adultry/murder, there is no atonement other than death, mentioned for adultry. and is considered the worst forms of adultry murder one can commit. all sin occupies the same space, but the density of the sin, can be greater. and homosexuality is a heavly compouded sin, violating more than ten commands. since the proibition against homosexuality is specificly mentioned in TheTorah. and G-D hates the spirit of lucifer even more than the satan and baal molech. and the homo rebellion of lucifer's spirit of seduction is well known.

Yes some are worse than others eg, if you are gay and in a relationship you can still commit adultery and therefore in my opinion adultery is worse then being gay. As for Murder thats the worst, how can anyone stand to take away another persons life.......God made us and gave us life and only he can decide when to take it away therefore I think that even though adultery is bad and gay is not always accepted, murder is the worst......

Who said being gay is a sin? Since when does loving someone who is of the same gender become a sin? Do you believe that a woman is "unclean" when she has her period? That's what the Bible says. Do you believe that a woman's hair is her glory. The Bible says so, so in other words would you not cut your hair?
Do you eat pork or fish without scales? The Bible says you shouldn't. Do you believe that killing someone is wrong? The Bible says so. Does that mean the war in Iraq, where thousands of women and children are being killed in efforts to kill terrorists is wrong?
Life simply isn't black and white.

a sin is a sin is a sin... what makes the difference is whether you ask for forgiveness, committing the sin when we know it's a sin, and committing a sin without knowing we did.
cussing is the same as killing another. society and our sinful ways lets us rank them on a scale of not that bad, worse etc...

-----Some sins are worse than others. Murder is worse than littering. I think being gay falls far below other sins, even if being gay is a sin. I do not know that it is. -----Jim

Alll sins are the same in god's eyes. There is no written in stone proof that sins are different from one another. Preachers preach the bible, I think somethings were left out of the bible. But who knows, Im an open minded christian.
Although I believe sex before marriage is unexecptable. Just stating an opinion
