Give him a variety of colorful foods daily and try letting him help you cook. He will come around eventually!

I had the same problem with my daughter when she was 3. She seriously would not eat anything! I cut her portions in half, cut out the snacks, and yes, told her if she didn't eat what I gave her, she would not eat again until the next meal. This may seem extreme, but it worked. I let her make her own choices to eat. No pressure, I just simply stated "If you don't eat it, you won't get any snacks or any drinks until the next meal." I also picked one night a week where everyone could eat whatever they wanted for dinner, and she began to help me in the kitchen during meals...its amazing what kids will eat when they know how its made! Good luck with your son, try to stay calm, I lost my cool once and yelled, I felt horrible, my daughter ran to her room and the night was ruined.
My daughter is now 4 and I also have 2 other children, they all eat pretty well now. I am making good progress I think...I just think of all the times that I didn't want to eat certain foods and now I love them!

I was a preschool teacher, and at that age, nothing is better than a little peer pressure. Invite some of his friends over for lunch or dinner and give them some vegetables that you know the other child will eat. Use him/her as an example. "See he likes carrots, want to try some and see if you like them?"
Also, never force, it's not worth it. Get creative though, have them help make dinner with the vegetables, he will be proud and may want to eat them. There's always different meals to, not just the same old same old. Good luck!

As long as there is no junk food available in the house he will be fine. It is not worth fighting about, if he doesn't eat dinner he gets nothing else till breakfast - simple. Make sure you tell him that as he gets bigger he will change tastes so that he is willing to give things a go. There are alot of different vegies other than horrid peas and frozen carrot. Let him eat them raw for tv snacks.

Hi, I don't know how old your son is but I've noticed that my son eats better if I feed him in sets... if I'm making a meal... of fish sticks, tater tots, and carrots.. I will feed him his carrots first, then when he's done I will feed him the fish sticks.. then when he's done I will feed him his tator tots.. I know if I give it to him all at once.. he will eat the tator tots first, then fish... and none of his carrots.. so I feed him what I know he won't eat first, then his main course... then what he likes the most...seems to work for me.. takes extra time.. but at least I know he's eating what he is suppose too

Try cutting everything else out of his diet. I know it's difficult, but you may have to in order to get some kind of nutrition into him. I also found that limiting milk and juices so that they have more room in their little tummies helps with their appetites. Had the same problem with my daughter.

Be tough! Tell him, "Fine go to bed, school...without. You must not be hungry." Initially he won't be hungry, but aftyer skipping one meal and seeing that you aren't gonna cave in any more he'll eat creamed dandelion not just sweet and textured veggies like carrots, corn, and peas.
