I was" born in the USA" but I have lived all over Canada.I love the winters and I love British Columbia.Canada is a very nice country with great people(not crazy about Quebec). But I of course prefer the USA because its my home. But I could live in Canada if I needed to .It would offer no hardship to this desert rat from Arizona.(I love to ski,and that helps lol)

They both have benefit, and problems Canada taxes are a lot higher, and distances to drive are a lot further. Housing is more expsense in Canaada. Canada get single payer healthcare, and got one worry out of the way. Canada still a lot better than western Europe where a 1000sq ft house or less

The order I pick to live

USA
Austraila
Mexico
Canada

Like warm weather money not everything after you can eat, and drink, bathe in clear water, and have money for basic entertainment. I live in Minnesota and been to Canada, and houses are smaller thier, and not as much spawl. Its not like your trading a Honda for a Ford Pinto like Mexico is if your poor lol. Its like Trading a new Accord with a CIvic between US and Canada.

Generally if you ask a Canadian, he or she will say Canada, unless they truly believe 8 months of snow is too much. Ask an American he or she will say America. They both have a relatively similar standard of living. Canada has more social programs but higher taxes (depends where in Canada you live) . The US has lower taxes but fewer social programs.

I prefer living and working in Canada (see the first line).

Canada. Even if the wages, taxation, and cost of living are all relatively even, the quality of life in Canada is better, as long as you can withstand a little cold weather now and again. Crime is lower, health care is free, education is reasonably priced, and no one has hijacked an Air Canada plane just to fly it into the CN tower in Toronto.

I think US is better. Canada's taxes are higher and things are more expensive. Also, there's not enough jobs in Canada.
