Okay. So I have a hair caught in my throat.
At first I thought I just had a bad cough or some illness, but it's persisted several days now, and I'm quite certain that it's a hair.
I've tried drinking hot liquid, but that doesn't work, and I also tried to reach in with my finger and snatch it out. That also failed.
So does anyone know what to do? Has anybody out there suffered the same terrible fate?

HELP!!!

If all the answers so far have not worked it obviosly is not a hair go to your gp they can look and provide advise as to what it is if not they will refer you to specialist who may put you to sleep and stick a camera in to see dont worry it does not hurt you wont know or remember a thing but you may get an outcome

Get hold of a wooden skewer or a thin stick, (Careful of the point!) wrap a band-aid or piece of cloth round it, dip it in honey so its sticky, and gently roll it onto the affected area, it should pick up the offending hair and remove it! I Hope you have some luck with it!

Might trying to eat some bulky rough food such as toast, stale biscuit, salad, without liquid. If that doesn't work then you might have to go to an urgent care center or ER.

Honestly, I do not think you have a hair in there. (hehe that rhymes) Sorry-: Anyway, Where in your throat is it? Have you noticed any type of runny nose or allergies? It could be a trickly post nasal drip. Maybe try an antihistamine such as Benedryl(diphenhydramine).

Whoa, that's too bad. I'd try swallowing creamy peanut butter. Hopefully it'll catch it and pull it down. If it's been in there several days, you probably have no qualms about swallowing it.

Good luck.

Eat a piece of dry bread.
Floss your teeth, maybe it's caught.
Gulp some water. You gotta knock it loose maybe.
Good luck

Try eating a slice of bread, and then washing that down with milk.
