could someone tell me if its possible to get a bt landline whilst bankrupt? i cant use ntl as thyre one of my creditors and to use sky broadband i need a bt phoneline!

Yes.

BT will run a credit check againt you, and if you are bankrupt this will fail. You will then be offered to pay a £50 deposit or you can have a service called Pay & Call.

Pay & Call is simaler to a pre-paid mobile phone service that you pay your line rental and top up your calling credit using a top up card. This is a 12 month contract and is not sutible and you cannot have broadband, but there is not extra charges. You pay the same price as normal billed customers so you can still have the different option plans such as free evening and weekend calls.

If you want to do it call (0800 800 150) choose the option for new customers. Explain your situation and that you would like pay and call.

so you have been declared bankrupt yet you can afford bt broadband!!!!! do your creditors know this
