Well, If you happen to be married or in a serious/committed relationship, then I would definitely say "YES". And NO, that's not a cheap politically correct, or even holier than thou moral, statement - merely a practical observation. ... On-line flirting, its temporary numbing effects and the cheap thrills that it might offer you (virtual as they maybe) are signs of unfulfilled needs. Unfulfilled needs in a real relationship are, in turn, symptoms of much larger underlying problems. In all, by on-line flirting you are not only cheating your partner (out of a mutually satisfying experience), but above all yourself into thinking that virtual happiness can be a substitute/cure for a failed or failing real life relationship and lack of compatibility. Besides, what might appear to the person doing the flirting as innocent fun may prove to be quite a different story for others.

57% of people have used the Internet to flirt.
38% of people have engaged in explicit online sexual conversation and
50% of people have made phone contact with someone they chatted with online.
Evidence proves there is a high correlation between on-line infidelity and subsequent real-time sexual affairs.
Evidence supports the existence of disinhibition, accelerated intimacy, and hyper-sexual online behavior that can easily lead to real-time infidelity

I communicate with adult men, ladies and we are continually fake impact one yet another, so how can human beings relatively flirt? How might the Flirtee understand they're being flirted to via the Flirter? In action picture "you have have been given Mail", Ryan and Hanks do voice-overs on an analogous time as e-mailing. without the inflection and nuance, they're basically flat words. combine flat words with distinctive cultures, backgrounds, ideals, and so forth. and shoot, how do you realize what the different individual ability? Take maximum issues, no longer with a grain of salt, yet with the full salt shaker, so i do no longer count quantity "flirting" as cheating.

If you're spending an excessive time on the internet; and you're secretive about it. You no longer sleep with your partner; sex becomes less frequent. You pick fights over trivial things.
You might have been told, "As long as he/she is on the computer at home, you have nothing to worry about. After all they aren't going out." This a complete fallacy. When attention that should be given to your relationship is focused elsewhere, the result is damage - regardless of where it's done.

Flirting isn't cheating, it's just the prelude. But that's how the dynamic starts that when it gets out of control is called cheating.

yes, I'd think so.
my ex-girlfriend had some online flirts, and I was quite
annoyed when I found out...
on the other hand, you feeling the need for some online adventures shows that something in your relationship is going wrong, isn't it?
(at least, this has been in my case).

If you feel guilty about it, obviously it is. Put yourself on the other side of the relationship. Would you approve of your bf flirting with girls online?
