I know eye contact and body language are a few, but would like to know more and if you could elaborate on those i mentioned it would be much appreciated.

Eye contact is the best. You can give long, slow looks and blatantly sexy stares.
Body language can say so much. It can plant thoughts that will stay after your gone.
You could leave cute or sexy notes or maybe even gifts, thats non verbal and women love attention like that...

A lot of subliminal information in your question! First off, even though an all-girl school is a great set-up for academics, there really isn't a lot of opportunity to develop and practise "social skills" with the opposite sex, is there? Give yourself some time to overcome that situation. Second, you seem to spend a lot of time by yourself, as opposed to being a "party animal", further restricting your "social interaction" opportunities. Being self-dependent and self-reliant will serve you well for survival (I do the same thing, which probably explains why I keep coming back here!), but further restricts learning how to act around guys. After you graduate, let yourself "go wild" a couple of times, just for the experience. Who knows, you might even like it! Just give yourself some time to expand your horizons. IMHO, there's nothing "wrong" that you're doing. It's just that some of your behaviour isn't "quite right" yet. Think about that phrase for a while, and you'll find your direction through this maze called "Life".

There's this new thing; called a wink, oh yeah and a Wave has just been discovered. you can feel free to use them at any time. but seriously, how well do you know the target, is she familiar with you? if you are acquaintances, a hand on her forearm, lightly brushing the hairs on her arm is an indicator, as well as brushing the hair from her face(tenderly, slowly) if this doesn't get her attention, try hitting her over the head with a stick :)
