I know that good people can do bad things and end up in bad places. But what is it exactly that makes you "love" Brandon so much that your willing to put your life basically on hold for a mistake that he made. I would tell Brandon that you want a break at least until he gets out. Honestly what kind of relationship can you have with a man with bars between ya?? Then your free to go date as you choose without the worry of cheating. But I think if you want to date other people its only fair to let Brandon know whats going on.

Ok, this bf is in jail. Guys in jail can be real smooth talkers when they want to be. Are you sure you want to even continue this type of life. Because this is just a taste of what it will be like if you continue. He goes to jail a second time,,and then you get the itch to be with someone and ask this same question again...and again..and again. Get the picture.

You have to think how you really feel about Brandon. Would you feel guilty about it after he got out? Why would you go on a date with another guy if you want to be with Brandon? You guys are still together.

I wouldn't do it if you're planning to be with him when he gets out. You might regret it.

Are you just really horny or...? Brandon is alone in his cell, silently masturbating while you go out for dinner and dancing with some guy? Do you think that's fair? Three months isn't that long. I guess if you really loved jail boy you'd at least give him nine months. Your call.

Perhaps whom you are really cheating is yourself. Don't cheat on yourself by committing yourself to a man who is dumb enough to land himself in jail. Do be true to yourself and stay away from loser men - don't you deserve better?

If you are tempted to cheat, it's time to move on before you get deeper into a relationship destined to fail. A good test of what the right thing to do is to pose your question to the person you imagine as your future self. What would she advise you to do?

If your still thinking of Brandon as your boyfriend and you still want to be with him when he get out, then yes, it's cheating. Besides, think of how great the sex will be when he does get out.

I think that if you want to still be with Brandon then you shouldn't go, unless you make it clear to the new guy that you only want to go as friends, and it has to be completely innocent, otherwise you will complicate things.

Its a shame that your heart is leading you & not your head! Where do you think your life will lead with a felon?

I guess if you really love your jailed BF, wait for him & stay true. But i still say move on.
