I don't have a religion... I have a relationship with Jesus. If you have an organ to donate, then go for it. Pianos, trumpets, trombones, harpsichords.. donate 'em all.

No prob with recycling body parts, either. ;-)

In the Old Testament, people didn't do that.....

So, there were no laws designed that an organ could be taken from one body and put in another....

Most people died from broken legs so imagine what would have happened when someone removed an organ....!!!

However, there is mention of blood....

Blood was not to be taken from one body and put into another... That is because the blood is the life of a creature....

it is written:

Deuteronomy 12:23
Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

Obviously, some did this in those days too......

As long as it don’t harm ur own health and u r not charging any money. I think no religion can stop u in giving an organ to any needy person.

According to islamic teaching all ulamas (islamic theologists) agreed that someone can give his/her certain organ for helping others when he/she died or when he/she still alive such as donate one of his/her kidney or eye to his/her relatives or to someone who needs it for his/her recovery and the one kidney/ eye will not danger his/her health..He/she will have a reward from Allah the only one God because he/she helped other as a good doing. In our holy Qur'an this donation is suggested and allowed

As far as what it says in the bible I don't think it says anything. My old church would encourage it. We certainly don't need them any more when we die, better someone else that can use them get them so they can live. I strongly believe in organ donation!

Buddhists say it's not cool. Your mind stays in your body for some time after dying (experimenting process of death), and it may be disturbed if someone starts chopping off organs.
