Yes Norton Intenet Security is best.
I was using AVG anti-virus and just switched to Norton Internet Security as my browser crashed and I was unable to change my Home page in IE.
So downloaded and installed norton and I found the virus and successfully deleted it though AVG detected it first but unable to delete it.
The reason I switched to norton was that my registry editor has been blocked and to download a tool from norton I switched and using it from the Safe Mode I accessed registry editor and from thee I successfully deleted the virus and the adware home page from IE.
I am using Norton Security as I feel it is best for Windows!!
You can also go ahead and try McAfee.
Also let us know if you find some more better anti-virus softwares with latest version. Thanks!!

None are best. All have their ups and down. I wouldn't touch NIS. Ad-Aware works well, Windows Defender does alright, Webroot Spysweeper is a good commercial program. Nothing is perfect though.
