I posted a question about the boyfriend already, and now to his daughter....she is....4.....she is a really adorable child, when she doesn't spit!.....I am very sweet to this girl, she is actually really smart. I try to do nice things for her, and try to be there for her, but when I do something nice...she will spit or bite me....my boyfriend doesn't whoop her, he talks to her...but she isn't understanding it is wrong. I usually sit her down with colors, scissors, and paper and just let her cut, and also learn. The last time we did this, she cut a chunk of my hair out and said 'momma said to cut your hair'...what do I do??

you should continue to discipline her when ever she disrespects you......she is only 4.....however that sort of behaviour should not be tolerated....let your bf know that she is saying her mum (who is obviously jealous) is telling her to do these things....hopefully he can take it up with her and explain how this type of encouragement is bad for their daughters well being....keep being nice to the daughter as she will see for herself that you are a kind loving person she will soon enough love being around you and see that you dont deserve to be treated that way.....

Do what I did to my daughter & sons when they did something
like that...If they bit someone, then I'd bite them just as hard, &
sometimes it takes more than once! And if she'he spit on someone, I'd slap the pee out of em...It may sound harsh to you,
but it's no laughing matter when a child's parent lets that child
keep disrespecting you like that. You say he's your b/f, but let me tell you...Unless that child learns that you're not gonna put up with stuff like that, then you and your b/f won't have a chance of lasting...

I doubt her mother really said to cut your hair. It seems she feels you are replacing her mother. The best thing for you to do is sit down with her and her mother and explain that you both love her and you both are always going to be around. If you don't have a good relationship with her mother or you feel like you aren't always going to be there for this child then your boyfriend shouldn't be bringing you around her. She too young for that kind of confusion.

Tell your bf that he needs to correct his daughter or get out. Because if he lets the daughter keep disrespecting you it will only get worse and not only that he must not have much respect for you anyway or he would have done something to put an end to it. Tell your bf to grow some balls. And be a real Father.

if mum told her to cut your hair then in her eyes it ok cos mummy says so.

so mummy is probably telling her its ok to spit at you and bite you s well.

tell her mummy is naughty for telling her to do it cos its a bad thing.

continue to do nice things with her but when she spits at you or bites you tell her off tell her its wrong pack the stuff awa and tell her you wont do fun things with her anymore till she says sorry and she mustnt do it again.

kids usually learn pretty fast when you take away things they like.

also tell your boyfriend to back you up as well after all its his kid thats turning into a nasty monster.
ask him how he would feel if she bit him or spat at him

Continue putting sharp objects in the child's hands.

Sit back and watch the hilarity ensue.

You should buy some sort of sturdy cage that holds well and lock her in there. Put a sheet over it so no light gets in and she will settle down....I hear it works on cats.

Let her do her thing. Continue to lecture her about how its bad to do that but you must keep in mind that she still only 4.
