ok. I like this guy and he knows, but him and my best friend both like each other.
Hes asked me if I would be mad if they went out, so I said no as long as they are both happy.
Then he said that was the exact answer he needed to NOT ask her out??
Please help he is so confusing!!

I think it happened like this---

that essentially means that you told him, " I LIKE YOU A LOT, AND ENVY HER, BUT I CAN't POSSIBLY BEG YOU FOR LOVE, COS LOVE CAN't BE GRANTED LIKE A SCHOLARSHIP TO A NEEDY STUDENT. I WISH YOU LOVE AND LUCK. I HOPE YOU FIND SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS I DO.SIGH!!!"
d> Obviously, he now is sure that you like him a lot, and likes you.
Or else he is not interested in you, but is afraid of being rent asunder if a catfight starts between the 2 females who like him.
e> On second thoughts, he likes you, or hewould have gone on and asked her out, and let you go to hell.

Haha aww. Maybe he asked her the same question and she said no, I cannot be happy for you if you aren't with me, even if you are happy.
So he saw that you're the better person :P Keep us updated! Maybe he is looking at you more now.

Start trying to see him in a realistic light. The guy sounds like a problem child to me. You don't need that.

You need to talk to your best friend too and find out what she thinks. Just talk to him and let him know what you want. Even if he's not too interested, at least you'll know. At least he ask you first about your feelings but you need to let him know that it would really upset you if they went out. Good luck!!!

He probably is afraid of hurting feelings. He knows that you both like him and doesn't want to come between you. It may be best if he doesn't date either one.
