I started dating somebody in January and we went out for about three months. It was cool until he all of a sudden was sent to boarding school (he's about a year and a half younger than me...). Over the summer I moved away and he recently came home from boarding school. We are now about 3,000 miles apart but he calls all the time saying he realized that he loves me. I was a bit taken aback but decided to try to continue a relationship with him since I will probably be back for a visit once in a while and we talk every night. Recently some of his friends have told me that he goes out with this girl he's been friends with for a while and that they're always "all over each other". Yet he's still calling me saying, "I love you, come back for a visit." When I found this out I stopped answering his phone calls because I don't know what to say. I know I shouldn't be upset because it probably wouldn't have worked out anyway. Might not be true. How should I ask about it without sounding jealous?

You said some of his friends, meaning more than one person told you about this girl. Why would they all tell you something that isn't true? The guy is two timing because he thinks he can. He thinks you won't find out about the other girl, and she won't find out about you, because of the distance. Now you know he isn't an honest person. If you had been dating in a casual sort of way, I wouldn't think it a big deal, but he says he "loves you". Ha. Sorry but you need to ditch this loser. Of course you're upset but believe me, there are better guys out there.

Honey, a man (or boy) has needs. He might be in "love" with you, but lets face it. If a guy has a chance to satisfy his physical needs now, he'll probably go for it. There's no way to ask about it without sounding jealous. Just confront him. He'll probably lie and deny it.
If I were you, I'd just end it. Long distance relationship sucks, and if you didn't have a strong relationship before you left to another city/state, then it's probably not going to work out anyway.

How can you feel deeply about a long distance relationship? If the rumors are true, that he see's another girl, why would u still want to have a "dating" relationship with this guy?

Try to have an open talk with him. Of course, it should be better for the talk to be in person, not over the phone. It doesn't sound so good though.

3,000 miles? My goodness that is far! Just ask him in a calm manner. Don't blow up at him. He might not even tell you the truth anyways...

Maybe you could ask him what he's doing lately, what he's been doing for fun..... Or you could just tell him that you heard a silly rumor and see if it's true or if he laughs.

it doesnt matter how you sound, tell him you were told he has a girlfriend and if thats the case he can stop calling you, then see what he says.
