Love, money.

Of course, it would be quite foolish to assume that love doesn't make the world go round. It does.
And if you're not as far as being greedy enough to sell your soul for more money, then take note that money does make the world go round, too.

Your situation here doesnt describe anything about love going over money. Sure, you love that girl but you like your cellphone, too. And last time I checked, love was supposed to be mutual. Point one: You loved that cellphone and it's darn well expensive.
Point two: You love that girl.
Question one: Does she love you? If she does, shouldn't she respect you and your property? After all, you respect her and I think I'm not mistaken.

Sueing her would be going a step too far, but then again, 600 bucks is a lot of money, and losing it right in front of your eyes is no better than heck. I'm not saying "get her to pay the money", nor am I telling you to leave her in a corner.
But rewind the tape and have a look. Does she feel sorry about your loss? If she doesn't, I'm afraid to say that I can't really see a future in this relationship, after all, love can't go far ahead if she's just gonna use you...

Possibly she doesn't believe how much it really cost. You could show her the receipt if you have it, take her to the store or whatever. I don't know if that will help. I think it's a bit of a long shot, but you could try. If she doesn't have the money, she should at least offer to pay you a little bit every month if she is descent. Then you could prove yourself very gentlemanly by refusing the money. If she doesn't offer though, there's something wrong with her. I wouldn't press the issue. It isn't worth suing over. Take it as a lesson learned and be more careful with your money next time.

Six hundred dollars for something so easily broken is a bad investment. Think of all the other things you could have done with that money and not had this problem.

All right... I see both sides... but first off, I just want to ask you why the f*ck you bought a $600 cell phone to begin with!?! Get a RAZR! Sheesh... I think someone who would spend all that cash on something so frivolous... oh, whatever. It's her fault, and she SHOULD at least offer to pay for it, but seriously? It's not like she rammed your car! She dropped a CELL PHONE. v.v'... you can see that $600 seems a bit absurd for such a small mistake.

Love is priceless. What's $600 in comparison? But, if you don't really love her, which I would wonder if that's the case considering you have to think about $600 vs. love, sue and dump her. She would deserve better than someone who values his love at $600, and you would be cheating yourself out of the chance to search for someone you really do love. However, if you really love her, forget the cell phone and $600.

I guess I don't understand why or how a phone could cost soo much. I think that if you could afford it the first time, you can probably afford to replace it. However, the girl might not be financially capable of paying for the damage. You have to decide how much she's worth to you.

It's quite tough when love and a costly possession clash like that : )
I consider it kind of cheap to ask her to repay you, but she should be decent enough to help fix the cell or at least pay you part of what it costs. If she isn't that decent, then it is not probably worth keeping her as a girlfriend!

If you didn't buy insurance on a $600 cell phone, I think it's your loss. Maybe your friend can't afford that much for a phone but I'm sure she feels badly.

Don't worry ,you poor boy in love! :)
If you really really love her and she's not in love with you , so only one thing I can say ,that she's blind.
Cause it doesn't really matter which mobile phone do you have, which perfume do you prefer, If she don't loves you.
But what about mobile phone, so you weren't right at all!
Cause it was her mistake , so she must apologizes for it.
You must be only yourself, if you don't want to be nice with her , so you mustn't be or if you want to be nice with her so you can be.
But if she 'll not apologizes ,so she don't deserves your love!
The world is full of beautiful and cute girls!
Just be yourself and keep on fun kin! :)
