My mom used to work at an IGA grocery store. She was working the deli department, and sliced half the tip of her finger off in the meat slicer. It actually grew back fully, without even an noticable scar tissue.

I cut the tip off my thumb, but it wasn't enough of it gone to even notice that it was gone... I did not leave it in the soup though...

i got a big chunk like 7/8 off -- i wrapped it up and it fused back together so i was happy.
