They do not have respect for God's Word. They have been influenced by the popular media that no longer calls evolution a theory. The evolutionists want so badly to believe there isn't a God so they no longer feel guilty about their lifestyles. They have even started to influence "Christians".
All they would have to do to convince me is show me one example of where life comes from non-life. People have been trying to prove that one BASIC principle of evolution without success.
Of course I could come close to believing if a tornado would run through a junkyard and build a working 757 jet because the odds of that happening are thousands, if not millions, of times greater than the human body JUST HAPPENING WITHOUT A CREATOR. Now who has the greater faith?
Hmm....

They really can't think too much of them. There is no such thing as a Christian that believes in evolution.
That would be putting no God in man's creation. All Christians know better than that.
So with there being no Christian that thinks that, creationists don't have anyone to think of. ha ha ha

let's get it straight here...evolution is not the same as the big bang theory. evolution is a proven fact, the big bang theory is not proven (that's why it's a theory!). i believe in evolution because it's happening all around us in nature, every day. doesn't mean we come from monkeys, it just means that after every new generation, animals are adapting more and more to their changing environment.
i am a christian and i believe in the big bang theory, but i also believe in creation. i think that the formulation of the world was a mix of the two, and i have found that most other christians who are not scientists are receptive to this idea and do not think badly of it. this is because the bible is not specific when it talks about the amount of time and the actual process of the earth being created. for all we know, when god created the earth in 6 "days" (resting on the 7th), 1 god day might be actually equal to 5 million earth days. the bible never really specifies.

What jacksfullhouse said. Christians who believe in evolution are obviously ignorant of the recent observations of various scientists and archaeologists.

Theistic Evolution can't coincide with the Scriptural account of creation. Genesis 2:4-7 implies Adam was created on the 2nd day of creation, before all other life.
Adam was only made into God's image on the 6th day. Check your Bibles!

I have no answer, but a debate between creationist, and "christians" who believe in evolution, I would have to say the creationist wins, no true christian belives in evolution!!

I believe in God and I know that evolution is a fact. God gave us brain to discover and wonder at the world he gave us not to be a closed-minded person. But most of the ultraconservative Christians think that people like me are either non-believer or stupid.

they probably think they are not a true christian.
but that doesnt change the fact that creationism is a bunch of mythical bronze age explanation of how life started.
and if you believe in creationism, you need to go back to school.

They are compromising their faith, and the word of God, for the science of men. We as Christians are not called to conform to the world, but to trust in the Lord with all of our heart! And the word is clear regarding the age of the earth and our origin...if we consider it to be true! And if we say we believe in God, but not His word, where is our faith?
