Please visit my blog http://360.yahoo.com/catholiccatechism and read my "Pacifico (of Evolution per Creationism ) - The Reconciling (of Evolution with Creationism)"
This blog entry will explain to you why you do not have to choose between science and theology. In fact, the very idea that this choice must be made is entirely fallacious. They both coexist just fine.

First of all you can only get to GOD through Jesus not your priest or Mary so try praying and confessing to him and not a man. and remember to pray always not just when your in need. Life here will not be easy but very hard so you have to choose to have faith. You are also at a very difficult age and I promise you these feelings of doubt will pass and if you don't enjoy church maybe you should try going somewhere else to church until you find one you do like.

For God to answer you you must believe in him. You must put him first in your life. You cannot expect God to answer if you have turned away from him. Perhaps through these times you have been tested to come closer with him again. Just because things are in a up roar you don't blame God, for he is a Good and Merciful God. Pray to him, talk to him everyday, allow him into your life to stay. When things arise get down on your knees and pray. He will guide you through anything and everything. Believe and you will see.

God does hear each prayer. He talks to you through His Word. Reach the book of John in the Bible, and it will show you the way. We can't have peace without Jesus in our hearts. No matter how hard we try, we can't do it on our own. We have a lot of people in our church that used to be Catholic, and now they are Baptist. Baptist or any other religion will not get you to heaven. A personnel relationship with Jesus Christ will. Every day He gives you breath, allows you to see, taste, hear, touch, and feel. Look around you, and know that all the intricate things in this world just didn't fall together. It took a great creator to do this. Satan wants you not to believe in God. He wants to take as many people to hell with him as possible. Satan don't go after anyone not saved he has them. He goes after Christians to try and take them away from Christ. If you have Jesus in your heart you can't be taken away from God. You will spend eternity in heaven. Most people don't read their Bibles and believe what everyone tells them. Search, and find out the truths. The Bible is God's love letter to each and everyone here on earth. God bless you as you search for the Truth.

Okay - do ya feel the love? Look at all these people answering your question!! God clearly lives in these people's hearts and He is reaching out to you through them! You are not alone in this feeling that God doesn't hear you. Even Jesus prayed from the cross, "My God! Why hast thou forsaken me?" But as you see, even when Jesus felt that God was not there, He prayed to Him! Just like what you're doing! You're doing exactly the right thing by continuing to pray. And God showed Jesus that He was never forsaken when He raised Him victoriously from the dead on the third day! He hears you. And nothing proves a man's faith more than when He continues praying to God even though he feels God is not listening! I am proud of you for asking for help on this and I'm very glad you are continuing to pray! You might want to read the book of Job in your Bible if you haven't already. It will surely inspire you. And as for science - well, for me, I love science! Science proves to me there is a God! I have two microscopes just so I can look more closely at His handywork! God is all around us in nature! And there ARE scientists who believe in God. Dr. Tim Johnson from ABC News is one. You should read one of his books! It would seem that 'Satan has desired to sift you as wheat'. But you should stand firm in your faith and pray always. I have been through the same thing. It's not fun. But it is a time to prove to God who you trust. I will keep you in my prayers. There will be better times ahead and you will be all the more stronger for holding on to your faith through this!

I have prayed for you. I once was in the same situation you are. Just relax, God will see you through and explain all things to you. In the mean time don't worry.

Religion is always a sensitive subject, an I believe that everyone has to form their own opinion. I think that God is the why, and science is the how; I believe in God, and I feel like he listens, but I also disagree with parts of the bible (how can some parts be excluded if it's the word of God?) and belive in things like evolution. my beliefs have been shaped by my experiences, much like yours will be.
All I can say is that you need to, excuse the after school special- but you need to search within yourself, find out about religion, it's history, and learn about science. As you grow, allow your mind to grow, and then you can balance out the information with your personal experiences and form your own views on life and religion. It's complicated, I know, but trust me, you can find a way to deal with it and accept it. (I was also raised Catholic and am 19.)

God IS listening!!! Keep praying and believe that what you are seeking will reveal itself. Be patient..... when we ask God for things, we want them NOW, but the thing you need to remember is that God will provide everything, when you are ready. May God fill you with friendship, peace, love and much much JOY!

You need to pray and ask God for forgiveness and power to help you, grant you wisdom and knowledge, and a closer walk with Him. Maybe you feel that your prayers are not heard and answered because the Word of God says that those who come to God must first believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. It also says that without faith it is imosssible to please God.

God always hears our prayers. He always answers our prayers. He may not give the answer we expect or that we want, but you have to keep in mind that God know what is best for us. Like I tell my students at church (and I don't mean to sound condesending, they are 1st graders), If you ask your mom if you can have a candy bar and you don't get it...you get a piece of fruit instead, it is not because she did not answer you. She just didn't answer the way you wanted, because she knows that a piece of fruit is better for you. God is our Father and He cares for us as a father cares for his child. God is good.
God bless,
