I bought a HP Pavilion Media Center PC. It has many plug ins for the three prongs or the TV type plug that you can run video out of a VCR with. I tried the manuals and online help. No help there. I want to be able to plug my VCR into the PC and hit the play button on the VCR and click some kind of record button on my PC so that it will save the information being streamed to it in a Windows movie media format. right now I tried plugging the VCR into the PC and looking for the program on my computer (Intervideo) that is for this task, but its not on here (maybe it didn't come with the computer like the online help site said it should) so are there any free downloadable softwares you know of? Or do you know what programs the HP Pavilion has that could do this?

You have chosen the longest route to copying your VHS's!
I transposed My Entire VHS collection using Scart to Scart Connection (DVD Recorder to VHS)
Took two weeks(Most set to recorder over-night)
But it was easy and straight forward.

The Only TV / Video Broadcast application I know of is AVID and that tends to work best on a Macintosh-Sorry I couldn't be any more help!
