Well, are you going for unique (but easy to confuse and maybe confusing to pronounce) or easy to remember (and relatively easier to pronounce). If you want something which is easier to spell and less likely to be mispronounced, go with the first one. Desiree Sade. That way, embarrasing situations can be avoided. No one will mispronounce her name. The last too look really cool in writing and It would look simply splendid when she becomes famous. However, people might tend to have a problem spelling her name and pronouncing it, which might leed to problems. But, If she's famous, she won't have those problems. Personally, I like the second spelling.

Oh, and Congratulations too!

My wife and I named our daughter the same but spelled it Deserrae. I would probably not go with the first one unless your looking to sound like EE as in SEE at the end instead of AE as in PAY. People are good at screwing up pronunciation, especially in school. Love the name, means "Desired", and Sade means "Honor confers a crown."

Congrats!!!
I think that you should go with Desirae' Sade because it is Unique. I don't think that anyone else will spell their child's name that way. The spelling is unique and it stands out. I am sure that is the way you would want that baby girl to be.

Good Luck!

I like Desirae Sade. Spelled with the ee people will pronounce it wrong and with the apostrophe she will never have her name spelled right. Its a nice name any way you choose to spell it!

Oh WOW - how exciting for you!!!

I know just how you feel. I now have a six month old daughter after having two sons.

We had decided on a name but there was also three alternate spellings.

One son wanted it spelt one way,
The other son and the dad wanted it another way,
And I wanted it a third way, lol.

I won!!! It was decided that as she was going to have her dad's surname (I haven't changed mine) that I should get to choose the spelling :-)

For your names I too prefer the first spelling.

CONGRATULATIONS and GOODLUCK with the remainder of your pregnancy :-)
