Do you know how much money the Iraq war is costing the USA

2006-11-02 17:22:00 · update #1

The Israeli government prayed for the attack on Iraq, which has eliminated the strategic threat posed by Iraq. America was pushed into the war by a group of Neo-Conservatives, almost all of them Jews, who had a huge influence on the White House. In the past, some of them had acted as advisers to Binyamin Netanyahu

Well I can safely say that it sure the hell wasn't the USA!!! Although I have to say that all our military is doing an outstanding job. They aren't the ones that decided to go to war, but they are fearlessly leading us over there time and time again. Some of our troops have been there 3 or 4 times and still going! Our troops here on the homefront are also doing an execllent job providing support for them. One team One fight!!!

certainly, USA hasn't got the most of it...sure they overthrow saddam, and now they can drill oil, question is until when? as more violence ressurects on daily basis the lesser the probability of maintaing peace and order through US presence in iraq will last...just this october alone, the US has suffers a considerable number of casualties, besides the rise of insurgent in kurdistan which pose another threat to it's neighbor turkey, which is not a good deal for washington...also, just in case that the GOPs got overrunned by the democrats in the house, likelihood is a gradual pull out of troops if not en masse, which will make bush's war on iraq the greatest fiascoe ever the US war records, even worst than that of vietnam...bush won't be happy of having an ungrateful exit because of this.
who gets the most of it? IRAN, they are shiite muslims, iraq's majority are shiite who's been under the rule of minority sunni muslim during saddam's tenure...so when US overthrow saddam, it's just another victory for their brothers tehran, besides the fact that iran's sphere of influence is getting stronger and more evident, they are just watching the american's do the job for them...while america shoulders all the shame and blame...at the end, it's a win win situation for Iran...just too bad.

Is it the USA--No, US sons and daughters die daily, and US lost face and is still losing billions of dollars per week.

Is it the UK--No, UK lost face, money, and political capital as Tony Blair is (finally) being forced to step down mostly for getting the UK into the Iraq mess.

Is it Israel--No, Israel has attempted to horn in to the Iraq war through offering advisors, orchestrating torture and treatment of the indigent population, and requesting an oil pipeline to Haifa. So far, each effort has blown up in their faces.

Is it France--No, France would have been a winner if Saddam had stayed in power and converted his oil trading into euros. As it is, France has gained nothing from the current mess.

Is it italy--No, Italy lost so much that they pulled out and Berlusconi, the chief proponent of involving Italy, is now gone.

Is it Germany--No, Germany was smart enough to steer clear of the Iraq debacle. In fact, Germany offered to train Iraqi police and military forces--but only as temporary trainees imported to German soil. The offer was declined.

All the foregoing countries lost a great deal and gained even less in the Iraq War. The only country to realize significant benefits and lose absolutely positively NOTHING was . . . .

Iran. Their old enemy Saddam Hussein is gone, Muslims friendly t their country are in charge, There's no one and nothing in the way for Iran to becoime a regional leader, and if Iraq is partitioned, a large part of the country will come under Iranian direct influence.

Absolutely not anything whatever besides lack of American lives and 500 billion $$$ or so. However huge oil companies and different enormous industry that have on their payroll Bush, Cheney, their cronies and Republican-Neocons received an astronomical quantities of cash on the rate of lives of American and Iraqi's individuals.

None of the above. They are Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Dubai regions. With the outbreak and continuing war, they produced and sold more oil at extreme profits and no blood shed with their Muslim brothers. The west gets stability and sets in place it's chosen officials as well gets out Saddam, but the stability will never happen.

As of right now, Iran. But that can change if the 140,000+ US troops turn towards Tehran in the coming years.
