Not serious cheating. I would prefer if my guy didn't do it, but if it happened I wouldn't totally freak out. If it's a stripper, then it's her job, but if it's some nasty skank on the street, then yeah, we have a problem.

I look at some of the other answers....especially from women....and I can't believe it. They must all be under 18 and/or have no idea what cheating is all about.
Lap dancings whole purpose is to get a man aroused. A man can get aroused by just looking at a woman so feeling her bare bottom on his lap would be over the top. He may not be inside her but you better believe he wishes he were. Is that cheating?
I would say that those who said they wouldn't mind either do not know what it is or have another lap to sit in themselves.
Cheating is any physical touching of another person other that your spouse. And it even goes beyond that. If you mentally have sex with someone else it is cheating on the one you promised to be exclusive with.
Is the only reason our divorce rate is at 50% and not higher because we don't care anymore? I do hope not.

Looking at these other answers I must be the biggest square in the world. Of course it is cheating... if he wants a lap dance he should be getting it at home! Any time you share an intimate moment designed for sexual release of gratification with someone other than your significant other it is cheating... no wonder there are so many divorces now days! Too many absurd questions on this board... What's next... If I come home and find a man with a large erection servicing my wife... is it cheating? Good Luck kids.

Well it depends on your communication level. Every couple is different. I dont mind if my husband get a lap dance, cause when he gets home he's getting the real deal

Would you be okay with YOUR woman giving a guy a lap dance? You know what would go through his mind... you know what she'd be grinding against... he'd see all her pretty parts and she'd be naked... are you perfectly ok with that? come on...

it doesnt really bother me, but my husband does not frequent those places,..if on the other habd he went to stripp clubs all the time, then we might have a problem

it depends on whether he goes there very often, how often he visits, how long he stays, how much he spends, and whether his attitude changes after he comes back or not.
