Okay I Have known this guy lathin for like 10 years or so he used to baby sit me Im 13 and he is 17 .. We found each other like 2 months ago and we have been talking online non stop and some days he'll act like he is totally in love with me and then some days .. like he just had a huge fight with one of his friends becca and she has a bf and he wants her and he talks about her to me and i have told him i like him and all he says is ... awww and im like what and everytime i bring it up he changes the subject but everyone who reads our convo. says he likes me and i think he likes me but sometimes hell say oh no i dont have a crush there like 5 girls who want me to be thier bf and i just dont wanna and i dont wanna hurt them so i dont tell them .. i think thats a hint that he doesnt want me at all just as a friend Can someone tell me why my dad and his mom almost got marries before before i was born could it be like just cuz its in my blood or something .. i mean ithink i love him.......

Yeah I think he was definitly trying to tell you something when he said there are like 5 girls who like him but he does not like any of them etc. Most guys are pretty simple when it comes to feelings if they like you they'll tell you. Dont let him play you like that. Find someone who really likes you, then later this guy may come around, but by then you'll be over it.

he may see you like a little sister or be confused about how he feels about you. you may not realize that there could be legal repercussions for him too. Your parents could accuse him of statutory rape which he can not risk. the age gap is too wide. its not socially acceptable for him to be your BF. think about dating someone 4 years younger than you. they would be 9 and they wouldn't have even hit puberty yet. Let him be your friend but i doubt he feels comfortable dating someone that could land him in jail.

well since youre 13 and he's 17, he might be a little afraid to move things further, i mean that's a pretty serious age difference. in a year, it will be statuatory rape. ask him why he's been acting funny, and let him know you're into him, otherwise, how do you expect for things to get better?

maybe he is changing the conversation because he doesn't want to have a feeling of being unconfortable around you but just check your conversations for hints or for things that stand out
