A movie is always a great, relatively safe, enjoyable first date. Try holding her hand or putting your arm around her during the movie and maybe go for coffee, hot chocolate, ice cream or a slice pizza or something after the movie so you can get more of a chance to talk and get to know each other as well. going to a movie is ok, but theres no chance to be able to get to know each other better. best to go to a coffee shop and chat with each other, or take a walk, or even go play pool

try to leave a good impression, have fun, be yourself, make your date feel special, try and find out if the two of you have anythig in common that could warrent further dates, good luck
