Have you tried Accutane? It's a prescription medication for acne. It has worked for a number of people that I know. It is very strong stuff and you have to see a dermatologist for it, but it seems to work. For the scars, I suggest using a Mederma-like product or something like Scar-Zone cream. It seems to help the scars fade. You might try a mask once each week, too. A mud mask would help draw out the oils (that are possibly causing the acne). A peely mask would help exfoliate old skin cells away. There are strong soaps, too. But, I can't say I recommend one over the other. A lot of it depends on your skin and unfortunately, you just have to try different things. Another thing that seems to work (if it doesn't irritate your skin too much), is if you take one of those round cleansing pads (Oxy-10 or Clearasil or something like that) and hold it over the "break out" area for a few minutes until it tingles. A dermatologist may have the best, definite answer, though. Good luck.

You most likely have cystic acne. The best thing to do is to get a prescription for Roaccutane. The results are almost instantaneous! However there are MANY potentially harmful side effects, and the drug itself is very expensive (and not covered by most insurances).
You should also increase your intake of water, veges (especially those high in vitamin A if you are not using retinol or accutane) and fibre and vitamins. Exercise regularly too, since this enhances overall health. Cleanse your face 2x daily with a gentle cleanser like cetaphil, and remove execess oil with oil-removing pads during the day. Don't over cleanse your skin, since this will dry it out, and then stimulate your subaceous glands to produce more oil.
Wear sunscreen if you are going to be outdoors.
If you do go on roaccutane, don't use any other acne products, and limit your intake of vitamin A (no vitamins, carrots, pumpkin etc).
Don't pop the cysts, since this will cause scarring and pock marking of your face.
Good luck.

I have always had oily skin....thought it would go away at like 20 but never has. Here is what I have done.
- Start using oily skin face wash soap.
- Stop using bar soap and use squeeze body wash, get like old spice so its a mans type
- stop using hands or wash cloth and actually buy those wash scrunchies that the women use. like a big puff ball, replace it monthly
- stop popping any of them as this will cause scars
- white heads form, put neosporin on them, clears them in 2 days
- wash your face at least twice a day outside of the shower
- cut down on caffeine...I cut it out 100% and I watched my face clear up instantly by 80%
- cut down on high intakes of sugar...candy, sugar on cereal, snacks
I have fought it all my life...seen the doctors, tried the pills, tried the creams, etc. Trial and error got me to where I am today...and for most part it works. Only time I get a few break outs is if I have a really stressful week.

Try this one as it was recently recommended to someone I know by a dermatologist. Carry a pack of wipes around with you and wipe your face every hour. It removes any excess oil/dirt from the skin and prevents the pores from becoming blocked, keeping the skin clear. Also, how's your diet? Make sure you're eating plenty of fruit and veg, and that you're drinking plenty of water every day. Avoid greasy food, sugary snacks and fizzy drinks. You could also try taking cod liver oil capsules as they're very good for the skin.

People always spend tons and tons of money on their acne.
Per bottle this cost around two dollars or less. You can find it a drug stores, the grocery store and walgreens of course.
Just pour a little on a tissue and rub your face. You will be amazed at the dirt you see on the tissue.
Its a first aid trick, Think about it. Cleans open sores, scratches, infections....It will treat your open acne sores.

The best natural remedies are to drink LOTS of water. Also, taking fish oil in capsules has helped. On top of this, you could also go to the doctor and get prescription acne medication.
