Oh dear !! I can relate to this many a time and not just with Sudocream!! It's even worse with a girl when she gets it all stuck in her long hair!! Count to 10 slowly. Take some pics to put in the memory album and then clean up. In a few years you'll look back and laugh even more!!!!

When I was an agent for Avon, my son decided to empty the entire contents of my make-up and perfume (including nail varnish) and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry either. I think I was more angry at myself for not keeping it out of his reach. Still the room and the bed covers were very colourful and smelt lovely!!!! Even his teddies got a make over!!

You might as well laugh because crying will only make you feel worse. Screaming at your child will only make your little one cry and wont solve a single thing. Try to laugh it off in a stern way if that's possible, the more you go on the more likely he is to do it again. Next time hide the sudocream. My little girl started to draw on her door because we did when we measured her for growth so we told her that was the only place she could do it, so far so good. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

just take it in your stride, its one of the joys of having a toddler! I can relate to this, my daughter did this when she was about 2 1/2 unfortunately it was in my mums front room, it was every where also, including the brick fireplace! a few days later she found a lipstick and went mad in my mums bedroom, not long after it had been redecorated, mostly white! due to the greasy nature of both sudocream and lipstick it was hard to get off, we resorted to white spirits to cut through the grease, to this day there is still slight white patches on the fireplace and she is 7 now! Good luck!

hey laugh! my son who's almost 3 got hold of a permanent marker and drew all in the newly decorated bedroom! i mean the walls, the floor, the bedding, the tv, the furniture and even the bloody lamp shades! oh and the door. Just give him a good talking too about not playing with things he shouldnt and make him stay by your side while you take on the task of clearing it all up. It took me an hour and believe me my son was soooooo bored by the end of it he's never done it since. oh and by the way laugh when he isnt looking. good luck xx

Oh come on !! No child can be watched for every second of their "toddler" lives. Children get into things so don't listen to the people saying that you should've been watching him more closely. I would laugh it off and have him "help" clean it up. You can get in a good mommy lecture during the clean up time. LOL Bless his little heart.

Be grateful its sudocream and not the contents of his diaper! My twins liked to paint the walls until I learned how to use duct tape. It wasn't funny at the time but now I can laugh about it. : )

Janet M obviously doesnt have children! It can so easily happen. My son did the same when he was 2 but luckily just on himself and the sofa. That was bad enough.Poor you!!! I'd get the carpet cleaners in and let them have a chuckle. But seriously they'd probably have the correct cleaning solutions to get it out.Fairy liquid the walls, and put the sudocrem in a padlocked cupboard!

Definitely laugh and make sure you take lots of pics. I remember leaving my twins in the front room playing whilst I put on dinner. I returned to find they had both pooped in their nappies, succeeded in getting them off and the walls and carpets were smeared with faeces, not to mention the fact that the children had it in their hair and mouths. Unfortunately I didn't even think to take any pics, certainly wish I had now though.

ulaugh it coild be worse he coul have pooed on the floor, so just laugh, or better still video it ,and send it to( you've been framed )and get yourself some money out of it,, the little darlings ain't they, make a bucket of soapy warm water up and if you have it on the carpet ,cover it with sugar first and roll it off first.if you have some brown paper, lay that on the bigest spots and iron it ,it should stick to the paper, have fun,,,,,
