I need to support a child of 2years old. And I had been without a job for almost 4 years. I got bad credit history such as debt written off and late payments.

It is REALLY unlikely that an employer is going to check your credit history. Even if they claim they have that right, or you give them that right when you fill out the application.

There are plenty of other ways to get screwed when trying to find a job, this one should probably be at the bottom of your list of things to worry about.

Good luck.

If a bad credit history affected your ability to get hired, half the country would be out of work. Do you have a special skill where people really need your help, and can overlook other aspects of your presentation?

I wouldn't worry about this if I were you, unless I was looking for a job in banking, high finance, etc.

Even if you do have bad credit and your (prospective) employer knows it, I don;t think it's much of a big deal. When I was responsible for hiring in a company department, I much preferred to hire people who needed to work, rather than someone who told me they were working for a little extra "spending money."

And an (unasked for) word of advice: work to get a good credit rating for yourself. It will make you life easier...

Best of luck to you

RARELY do employers check your credit history. Plus, they cannot legally unless you sign a permission.
