Religion is against evolution, because it just makes us feel our insignificance in the Universe(and Christians Muslims etc will kill the evolutionist if they could)
However if you tell a Hindu or Buddhist this fact, then they will be always open to discussion,In Hinduism reincarnation from a lower species to a higher is believed so it does not contradict evolution.
Hindu idelogy just states depending on your work in this life you will either ascend to a higher body(animal) or a lower body(animal) and each soul gets a chance to be a human being only after many millions iof births.

(not this again...)
Your general attitude toward religion, which is the foundation of society and culture, is one of disrespect, and you don;t have your facts straight.
God did not evolve. If you look at all of these religions, the only ones that believe in a God which last are the Judeo-christian based ones. Take the good old catholic church, for instance. Two thousand years of believing the same thing. No dogmas of faithe have been changed. Look at the egyptians; every century they worshipped something different, and now their religion is extinct. The babylonians and Chaldeans had the same end. So did the Zoroasters, the European pagans (no, the catholic church did not kill all the celtic pagans. They converted, and Ireland has been christian ever since).
Your view of religion is a very dour one, and you need to realize that there are religions that don't evolve.
Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are going to be around for a lo--------ng time. I believe that christianity will last to the end of the world.

They hide the fact that according to religion God at one time was worshiped as the Sun, a woman, an idol and now a man. Religions are against evolution because it disputes what they someitmes preach and religion can't admit to being wrong.

Hinduism agrees with Evolution theory. Collectively to start with in Hinduism we worship Idols both in Men and Women form, then in next stage worship nature and in the next stage we worship Nothing. GOD is defined as NOTHING in Hinduism.

There is an equivocation of terms "evolution" in the religous sense and "evolution" in the biological sense, one is metaphorical the other literal, in a sense. But...not all religions are against Evolution, e.g. Catholicism is quite fond of it, see stuff written by John Paull II on it.

religion hasn't evolved. religion is based on text from thousands of years ago, that has been compiled and studied over those thousands of years. and religions aren't against evolution (at least christian religion isn't). evolution happens, it's a proven fact, and it doesn't necessarily mean we come from monkeys. if you say that religion is against the big bang theory, that might be correct. but evolution is happening in nature all around us all the time.

I don't believe Adam, the first man worshipped Sun, he was a monotheist, who worshiped God alone.
btw, evolution denied by religion is evolution of species, not evolution of any other kind. It is unreasonable that all the species in the world has been created because of random mutations.

Guess you missed the whole part of AD and BC.
BC - time before Christ
AD - time after Christ...the present day
People worshiped the Sun and many other Gods till Jesus came along and gave the word and message of the true God.
That is why time is measured and marked in AD and BC.
