her parents are divorced and her mom is the one that booted her. her dad wont take her either. its depressing

If it's your 12 y.o. and you don't arrange for alternate childcare, then yes, it's illegal.

i think that its so not right, i dont know about the legal part but why would u wanna kick ur 12 year old out anyways??? if a person is not mature enough to put up with their kids then they dont even need to be having them!!!

since they are a minor and not legally emancipated from their parents then it is legally considered child neglect if they are kicked out of the house unless the parent takes them to a shelter,another guardian, or location. then yes its neglect and the parent can be arrested

People who feel sorry for this 12 yr. old need to write me and I will send my smart *** 13 yr. old over to shed some light on the subject. lol She can work on the maturest persons nerves.

Nope, parents are responsible for their kids until the law in their region says the kid is an adult. It varies, but it's usually 18 years old.

well they were supposed to go through court to do that, but it's child abandonment, neglect, it's def illegal. u should report them, for the welfare of ur friend.

personally I think they are unfit parents! they don't know of any other way to repremand the CHILD and I DO mean CHILD;THEN THEY DONT DESERVE TO BE CALLED A MOTHER OR FATHER!
