I like the way you qualify the question “without surgery” real convenient. Why didn’t you qualify the disease cures as without drugs, doctors or surgery? I would imagine that any scientific advancement (including surgery) is attributable to God because he made the person/people who advanced it didn’t he? Or don’t you believe that?

Oh - I get it, this is a sarcastic question by someone who doesn’t believe in God and wants to make fun of people who do. Oh well, wasted my time answering. Well I guess I don’t know - maybe you really are curious and need a reason to believe in God and really want someone to answer seriously so I’ll try again.

We don’t currently have a Messiah running around performing miracles, so God is working within the confines of societal advancements. Miracles are rare in this day and age because we are all sinners and we don’t really deserve them.

Another try - The amputees already got one Miracle by surviving the condition that caused the amputation and God likes to spread out his miracles and not give too many to one person.

Another try - God wants people to question things and come to their faith without knowing for certain. If he wanted us perfect he would have made us that way, but instead he made us as beings that are capable of learning and becoming better people even through uncertainty. We learn more through suffering than we do from having it easy so curing someone’s suffering stops them from learning as much as they could. Maybe the miracle is the disease/amputation not the cure.

I wonder what the purpose of your question really is. Are you trying to save people? You know like Christians try to save people through Jesus? I guess we are all trying to save people in our own ways and are more alike then we would like to admit. Good luck on saving people or being saved which ever you feel you need more of.

As to so42’s question - it’s kind of covered in my other answers, but I have a question for you . How does evil evolve? What is it about evolution that causes some people to be sexual predators and murderers? I could see if people were only murdering for survival or abusing people sexually to continue the human race, but people murder people without needing their resources (food, shelter etc.) and people rape children before the age that they can be impregnated. What’s the evolutional reason for Sodomy? So what is purpose of pure evil in evolution when it does nothing to improve adaptation to the environment or survival in general? I know you can’t answer me with this format. Maybe I’ll post these as questions later. I’d really like to know peoples thoughts on these things because I really don’t have my mind made up on religion. I do have more questions about evolution as a complete answer than I do with a combination of Evolution/Spirituality as a combination for the complete answer.

why do people not understand anything about the Bible and God,have you read the Bible,
It all boils down to faith if you ask God to heal you of your cancer and you don't believe he can do it, it want be done, same as with and amputee, if you don't have enough faith,or believe in God so strongly to believe it will happen ,it want happen, and most people don't believe in God til they are sick or hurt or in real need then they want to clean up their act and try to believe long enough to get what they want from God then go back to their old ways, that's not how it works and if you are not a saved person and believe that God can do all things, you want grow back a limb, and your cancer want be cured,,but I have seen cancers and heart defects cured ,Ive never know anyone with a limb missing . but miracles do happen Ive seen them, and you got to have faith the size of a mustard seed, and that's only a small amount, most people don't have that much, if any and thats why you want see any thing cured

God allow man to do these things. Since man does not want God, man get to do this own his own. We have the opportunity now to show God how we do not need Him. I feel we are doing well without God. There are prosthetics now that are like the real thing. If, people can not afford them because of greed for money it that person's fault for not having money, not God's. Remember we showing God we not need him. He not really going to do anything. I not understand why people who do not Believe in God keep expecting Him to do something. It seems weird to me.

God did that? I thought they were cured by medical science??? Amputee's will have to wait till the churchies get off their high horse and allow proper stem cell research again.

Good question. That type of miracle is coming, any day now.
Psalms 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and [there was] not one feeble [person] among their tribes.

And why do Christians claim he heals cancer and disease, but never claim he strikes sexual predators about to act impotent? And who can pray more sincerely than a child/teenager about to be sexually victimized?

Lol, I have visited that site before, it is full of common sense questions such as that. This guy on one of my post claimed that God saved him from his addiction. 'God saved me, he blessed me, he cured my ailments.' I can't believe those healing churches that actually have priests that supposedly heal people. It is absolutely ridiculous.

The same reason why he lets his chosen people (Jews) be persecuted for centuries.

He doesn't exist.
