Ok, I am a college student, and today I escourted my girl friend to some expensive, rich, elegant restaurent to cheer up her mood.

Of course, she was rejoiced, the mood was great, and we had some very nice conversation.

After we finished our dinner, the payment was just enormous, so I used a dicount card along with my debit card. And this pissed her off. She said I just destroyed all the romantic mood and stuff.

I mean,, may be I shouldn't use it, but I am a student and I am not that financially affluent person. I just wanted to cheer up her mood, and I guess I messed up.

What other ways I could do in order to make her happy?

If i were u I would think twice on her. She should be happy that you take her out on limited funds. u are college student.....Sounds like she has no regard for money and how hard you have to work to get it.
if something so trivial made her mad, u are in a doomed relationship. Run while u can..
by the way, I am the mother of 2 adult children and one teenager.
So I have seen them all.....

Sorry, but she sounds like a spoiled, self-centered, ungrateful snob. She couldn't even say,"thank you?!"
I don't think you can do anything to make her happy. She doesn't seem to realize how hard you're working as a college student and as a boyfriend. I wouldn't bother. Find someone else and ditch her.
Do you really want to be treated this way every time you're nice enough to take her out?

I don't normally talk like this, but - she's a pig.

I would have been thrilled with your date, discount card or not. She's worried about what other people will think, instead of being happy with your nice gesture.

She's a pig.

I don't see anything wrong with using a discount card. Geez, its not like you asked her to pay(which would have been bad).
Does she always act like this? If she does I would seriously reconsider the relationship.

she's obviously crazy. what's wrong with using a discount. she's too immature and thought it made yall seem broke instead of pulling out wads of cash. call and talk to her to see what the problem is asap.

OMG... make yourself happy and get out now while you can.

Sounds to me like she is a greedy B***** who will never be happy no matter what you do.
