ok the first three answers were totally lame. first, i cant go see him, theres no way i can get a ride out that far and my parrents wouldnt let me anyways. second, im already busy, i have a million things going on. the few seconds of free time i do have i wish to spend with him, but i cant.

I'm also in a long-distance relationship. They ARE hard but I've been making mine work for over 3 years now. We have another year 10 months or so to go before we can finally be together permanently. We HAVE spent 2 of the 3 summers together so that's good but other than that it's usually a weekend once a month.

Things we do to keep happy is...staying busy. I never let myself sit around doing nothing because I will inevitably start missing him and feeling upset about it. So I try to keep myself busy with homework and activities and friends, of course. We talk every night to stay up to date in each other's lives and email sweet, cute and funny stuff throughout the day. We sometimes send letters with really nice teabags to remind the other of us. We send pictures and make things that remind them of us so that when we look at them, we feel happy to have them in our lives instead of immediately going to "why aren't they here?" Long-distancing is certainly not for everyone. It takes a certain kind of person and a certain kind of relationship.

im sorry, but it doesnt just go away. but to lesson the pain try getting a hobby keep yourself busy, if you keep busy the less time to worry about him. hang out with freinds, you pretty much have to find a new life. not saying leave him alone just saying occupy your time. goodluck

WHY DONT YOU JUST GO SEE HIM, IF YOU CANT THEN MAY
IT TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT TALK TO HIM AND LET
HIM KNOW THAT YOU MISS HIM AND WANT MORE OF
A RELAITOSHIP THEN WHAT GOING ON. TIME TO GET
THE EVERYTHING OUT OF THE WAY. IT WILL NOT GET
ANY BETTER UNTIL YOU DO THIS.
