yeah soo i have a video camera and it can hook up to computer and everything but i cant import anything from it i mean it shows up when i plug it in with the " new hardware! " thing but it says i need the software too and i dont have that soo i was wondering if theres any way i can download that from a website or something well those who can help it would be great!

First thing, you should have put your Camera's Make, Model etc, that way I could have posted the link for the Drivers.

Second, your camera would have come with a CD and instruction manual. Most of the time, those folks would have told you how to download movie from your webcam.

Third, You can use Windows Movie Maker to extract movie from your Video Camera. You can also extract a particular clip!!

Fourth, for better resolution and quality, you need to have Firewire card installed and connect through iLink port in your camera.

Download the drivers and software from the camera mfgs website!
