The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother Of God, is not recorded in the Bible. However, it is recorded in the Apocryphal New Testement, just as the Martyrdoms of the Apostles(with the exception of the Martyrdom of St. James, the brother of John)are not recorded anywhere in the Bible, but, are recorded in the Ancient writings of the Apocryphal New Testement.

First of all Mary didn't "ascend" into heaven by her own power as Christ did. She was "assumed" into heaven. The Bible doesn't record this event, or many others. Where in the Bible does it suggest that everything that happened in biblical times is recorded in the Bible? The Bible does guarantee that this event occurred however, even though it doesn't describe the event specifically. The Bible tells us that whatsoever the Church Christ founded defines as binding teaching upon earth is also bound in heaven, and is therefore true. The Assumption of Mary is infallible teaching, binding on the universal Christian Church. Even though Protestants hate this passage and try to avoid it whenever possible, it is the Word of God after all.
As for Mary being alive, Jesus Himself said that those who follow Him "will never die". So that pretty much settles the matter of Mary being alive.

I had not read the Apocryphal New Testament, where they said it was mentioned, though I have read the Bible and yes, it was not mentioned there. However, some of us are believing just because it is in the Bible and do not use our common sense and our heart to expand our faith and belief. Jesus Christ have mentioned that the Ten Commandments that was given to Moses has been converted into two: First and most important is: "Love the Lord you God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind", and "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." and Jesus replied to this. 'do this and you will live."; Jesus thought about love, and am sure, as human, Jesus love Mary, His mother so much that because of that love, do you think He will let Mary die and have her body decay if He can do something better for the sake of His mother as Son of God? In this context, I beleive that Mama Mary is alive with the Lord, Jesus Christ and continuously enjoying her blessed life with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.

no longer each and everything there is to nicely known approximately Jesus and Mary is contained interior the Bible. for occasion, the Bible would not communicate of Jesus' existence between a while 12-30. in spite of the indisputable fact that, He could desire to have an incredible type of issues throughout those years.

The teaching that Mary was assumed into heaven is not recorded in Scripture. It is based on Apostolic Tradition. However, Scripture does record this happening to others. Heb 11:5 tells us that Enoch was taken to heaven without dying and Elihah was whisked away to heaven in a fiery chariot (2 Kings 2:11). Matthew 17:52 suggests a bodily assumption before the Second Coming. The Catholic church teaches that Jesus loved His mother so much that He could not bare to see her body die and decay, so He took her to be with Him in heaven.

I checked...there is no mention that Mary ascended into heaven. The last mention of her was in an upper room with Jesus disciples after Jesus ascended and they were all praying.
Mary is NOT the mother of God. She was an earthly, mortal woman who was implanted with God's seed. She gave birth to God's son.
She raised him as a believer. She remained faithful unto death and will be ressurected along with mankind if she is not one of the 144000 that will rule in heaven with Christ

Absolutely nowhere. It is a myth made up by man to deceive others. And others are so easily deceived because they refuse to read the Bible for themselves lest they find the truth. Mary was just like you and me and she definitely did not go to heaven because she birthed the Christ child. She also had to believe in Him and to accept Him as her Lord and Saviour, just like everybody else. If the opposite is true, than God is not God anymore and His Word is a lie. Man, His Word states, is saved by grace and grace alone by the finished work of Christ on the cross. Mary has no special powers in heaven. she is not a mediator, she is just a sinner saved by grace. If she is, what is christ then? John 14 clearly states that "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me". This is Christ speaking and this is proof enough that Mary holds no special status in heaven. She was merely an instrument, just like very other follower of Christ is in spreading the good news of the gospel. She has been highly favoured to be chosen as the person who brought Him into the world. that is all and we respect her for that.

It doesn't. Only Elijah (or Elisha...I can't remember for sure). There was also the story where Elijah, Moses and Jesus were seen after the Ascension, but no where does it indicate in the book that Mary ascended into Heaven.

Even in the novel entitled The New Testament no one claims that those who ascend to heaven are 'alive'.
