Lucifer was the most beautiful angel created, he sang to the Lord. ( sort of like the whole orchestra in one angle, but not exactly ) His throat was like pipes on an organ.

He was an angel of very high rank and was chothed in splendor. Pride got the best of him and he chalenged God's authority. God sent him and 1/3 of the angels in heaven with him( they supported him) to hell. Now Lucifer is making sure that he can get as many people to refuse God as posible, so that he won't be alone in his suffering.

well, i'm not sure what Lucifer's job was before he and God had a falling out but i do know that Lucifer visited heaven now and then and he and God experimented with how humans would react to unpleasant situations. apparently Lucifer wasn't banned from heaven despite having rebelled and become The Devil.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

When he was originally created, he was an angel. Then he wanted worship for himself, and turned into a wicked spirit creature and took many with him. His specific job is not mentioned in the bible, but different angels have different things to carry out for God.

It's my understanding that he was an archangel, like Gabriel or Michael. I think he did have a beautiful singing voice, and was good to look upon.

It is said by some that he was something like the chief musician who wanted a greater position. Super egotist in other words.

Just like splinterjah said.

It's clearly in the Bible. All of your questions are on the Bible but few people read the Bible.
