Let's the the difference is a citizen can vote a green card holder can not. A green card holder can get better loans and government grants then a citizen.
The difference between a green card holder and an illegal immigrant???
All the legal red tape and exams they go through. lets just talk the physical exam where they are given all their shots and check for communicable diseases such as TB.

Soo? I have a green card, I know that I'm not yet a citizen but I'm working on getting my citizenship soon, I'm still legal in this country don't you think?

Legal residents can not vote. Only citizens can.
