my win media player doesnt work anymore is there a replacement ? when i try to view a streaming video such as yahoo sports fantasy football show IE has a problem and must restart.I have tried uninstalling win media player(its not listed on add/remove programs or componants) and re installing(i get message in setup that say win media player was not installed and to try again,which does not work.i have ran a system defrag,tried to use rollback(which wont highlight even when checked)ihave win me(cant upgrade).i have real player,winamp,and qtime.will any work like win med player and not crash IE like when i try to stream wmv files,or how can i get my win media player back?thank you for listening to my frustrated rambling.please help!

The best way is to do it the dirty way!! Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player and shift delete the dayem folder and files. If it says cannot delete file coz its being used, ignore that and delete the rest.

Use REGCLEAN which will clean all the dangling pointers in the Registry. Now your PC is sorta clean from ur corrupted WMP.

Go to Microsoft website and download the latest WMP once again. NO Do not use the downloaded file you have. Preferably ask your friend to download it for you and bring it in a flash drive.

Now install it and Im sure you will get back your WMP playing properly.

On safer side, after you remove WMP, uninstall Internet Explorer and install it before you install WMP. Ofcourse you should take a reboot AFTER you uninstall both.

First quit vacationing porn web pages with "loose Trailers" 2d restart your laptop wait 5-10 min...then circulate on your media participant configuration reveal (very own laptop) and attempt enjoying some thing you have saved,some thing no longer grimy....you in basic terms could be suprised.

Use VLC
It can even save the streaming.
