No way. I would not want to watch it.

I definately would! I am actually hoping that my doctor/hospital allows it... because my fiancee is due for deployment within the week, and sadly he won't be here for the birth of our daughter. So granted that I can find someone who is willing to be a cameraman (and doesn't get queasy easily) I believe it will be a great gift for my husband-to-be, being there even though he wasn't able to be there, ya know? But I'm making sure that he'll be present for our next child's birth :)

uncertain, i do no longer % to work out what's taking place down there. And it in all probability must be videotaped so i undergo in concepts it, because of the fact that i circulate to request maximum of drugs i'm going to be comatose most of the time.

Yes, but I would watch what you videotape because you want something that everyone can experience what you did, but they don't wanna be grossed out, and I wouldn't want to be the pregnant woman embarrased by everyone seeing everything. I video taped my nephew being born, but i didn't tape down below to where you could see everything, I mainly focused on her face, and then when he was born, and that's a moment that I'll never forget because I helped deliver him, and my sister can show him when he gets older.

I definitely would not. It would be like videotaping myself on the can. Not exactly something I want everybody to see!

We kind of did. I had 2 c-sections, and for "hospital reasons" we couldn't tape the whole thing, just the beginning and the end. It's really embarrassing for me to see myself like that, but it's so beautiful to see our children at their 1st moments of life. I recommend it, as long as the person who does it is tactful and respects your wishes...which you would have to make known beforehand.

Ugh...god no. Why would anyone want to watch that? Seriously...I've had one birth and will be having another in a few months...and there is no way in hell I would videotape it. What do people do with it after, get a bowl of popcorn and watch it with the in-laws?? Ew...no thanks.

Well now that it's 27, 25 and 23 years later, I find that I have never regretted the decision to keep my privates private.

NO WAY!!! My fiance desperately wants to though..But it won't be happening, I don't need to actually view the birth over and over, I can recall it at any given time in my mind. :-)

No! I think it is an event you probably won't ever forget. Pictures may suffice. Let the woman have her baby without needing a nasty reminder years later.
