Why am i Shy?

for some reason im really shy.i have a gf.we barely do anything.but still spend a lot of time together.i want to like kiss her ev eryday and hold her in my arms but for some reason im too shy or embarassed to do it.do u guys no why im so shy?and do u noe if there is anyway to fix this problem?

Dont worry. Lots of people are shy. To overcome it you just have to remind yourself that you have this awesome girlfriend that really wants to be with you. Each time you think about kissing her, remind yourself that she wants to be kissed by you. If you do have some underlying worries, then talk to her about them. Your relationship will only grow deeper as you find out more about eachother.
Overall, remind yourself that your a great guy and overtime, your shyness should disappear.

Guy - read the Q&A on this site - there are, every fricken day, a dozen young women asking why their guys seem to like them but won't hug or kiss them. Poor girls are so confused. Then you write this. WTF?!

Listen - if she's hanging out with you, she likes you. She WANTS you to hug and kiss her, she really really does. But it is YOUR job to make the first move, it is YOUR job to kiss her. Eventually she WILL leave and find someone just as cute, just as nice, but WHO WILL KISS HER.

Do this: Get her alone, on your couch, watching TV. Not a movie, TV. When there's a commercial, put it on mute and just make idle conversation. Don't even try to kiss her. Try not to think about it. Just talk. Then, there will be a break where you have nothing to talk about. Look into her eyes, don't say anything! Just look at her, then put your arm around her, and lean in while VERY GENTLY pushing on the back of her head towards you.

If she resists, stop. That's not necessarly bad - she may not be expecting it - but now she knows your interested. If she tells you forget it, you know where you stand. You just got rejected. But if she doesn't get up, if she acts like she just f'ked up by freaking out, simply ask her if you can kiss her. Then do it.

If she does not resist, lean in, bring her head towards yours, and brush her lips. DO NOT TRY TO TOUCH HER TONSELS WITH YOUR TONGUE. BAD MOVE. Don't grab body parts. Just brush her lips with yours. It's possible she doesn't want to kiss. But not in this case. She does. Be gentle, kiss her sweetly, and you'll be swapping spit ever after. You just have to do it.

You lack experience. The shyness will go away if you set your mind to it. If you want to kiss her etc, I don't know your age, then you as well should be aroused by her, if not maybe that is a part of your problem. Maybe watch a few romantic movies alone or with her.

your probably just being cautious around her and trying hard not to offend her...maybe ask her if she wants to be kissed and cuddled and if she says yes you may be more comfortable with her...
