Or did Cain marry Eve? Where did Cain's wife come from? Since Adam and Eve were the first and only people (fundamentalist christians that believe EVERY WORD of the Bible), Cain would had to have married his sister or mother, right? If not...then the creation story you hold so dear is false.

Yes, we believe every word but are not simple enough to believe that every thing that ever happened was recorded in the Bible... Where does the Bible say Cain went after he killed his brother.. Nod right.. Ok there must have been a place called Nod that was populated.. How The Bible doesn't say so I guess it's up to speculation. I believe there were were other creations of people that the Bible does talk about. Adam was important because through him God would send His son to die for us... Jim

>So if Cain's wife is his sister...incest is okay?

It was, THEN.
It is NOT, now.
Check and see when God declared it to be "incest" and "wrong".

>Or did Cain marry Eve?

Wherever to Americans (USof A) get such strange ideas .... again, and again, and again?

Of course NOT!!!

>Where did Cain's wife come from?
>Since Adam and Eve were the first and only people
>(fundamentalist christians

and others who believe the Words of God

>that believe EVERY WORD of the Bible),
>Cain would had to have married his sister or mother, right?

Quite logically, his sister. Adam and Eve and sons and daughters. Flavius Josephus says they had 33 sons and 23 daughters.

>If not...then the creation story you hold so dear is false.

Our your "reasoning" is false. I opt for your reasoning as being FALSE.

Cain didn't marry his sister, he married his niece. To think that Adam and Eve only had three sons is very closed minded. Adam and Eve and lots of children, most of which followed after Cain when he fell.

Why don't you read the Bible and then you can find out for yourself ? It sounds like you got some friends that know less about the Bible than you do.Cain went to the land of Nod and there he came to know his wife.Evidently God had created more people by then. This probably sounds a little far out there to you,I mean with the Big Bang theory and man came from monkeys all.Why would anyone want to believe in God with all these Geniuses we got.Try reading the Bible,it will amaze you.

IF Cain married his sister, then wouldn't the DNA be more pure than today and less likely to cause problems? The Bible doesn't provide all details about everything or no one would need faith because they would have a perfect knowledge and no need to grow. Frankly, I don't know if he did or did not marry his sister or if more people were created. We could debate what-ifs from now on, but no one can definitely say who is right or wrong in this argument at this point in our history.

Cain's wife was his sister. They could only be "fruitful and multiply" with only their own family, everybody else was dead. Their family were the only one's in existence. That does not justify incest. It was only allowed in special circumstances. I believe in the book of Deuteronomy, God gave Moses all the laws to govern the people by. It explicitly tells each person not to "go into" a family member....which totally rules out incest as acceptable.

Cain was marked, then removed from the sight of his mom and Dad,
He married a Canaanites woman, Adam and Eve had other children after that.
David when he became king, over Jerusalem, killed all the Canaanite's, he could find.
This is where we get the word,
Gentiles, people created by God, but not Gods people.
See God had his own race, and a race he created to be evil.
And after Jesus came, the everyone could be saved.
Up till Christ, they could not. They were hated, and killed. wiped off the Earth.

In my opinion, Genesis itself proves that if God created Adam and Eve, he did not stop there.

and technically Adam and Eve or clones(made from the same flesh)... but the rules of no incest, etc didn't really come into play until after the events in noah's ark.
