well let me start by saying ty to all the yahoo members for your support. well to start i will say i had the worst relationship on yahoo. i dated this guy for 2 1/2 yrs. and we broke up at least 30 times or more. towards the end i was so fed up with the way he treated me that i cut up his clothes and almost lost my mind. i kept going back for more. i belived he would change over and over . kept letting him back for more. he lied and lied and lied some more. and i kept going back. i even let him stay at my house without us having sex thinking he would show me finally that he would change and he lied again. its different things that he did that was the opposite of what he said. the more i left the more i got stronger and the less i cared. now we are seperated again and i fell stronger than ever. i had a guy call his phone to tell him dont call or come my way ever again. so after all this in your opinon do you think its over. everyone has a ending sooner or later. i feel this is it.

I think most women have had a relationship like this one at some point in their lives. I know I have. If a person is smart, they will learn from it and not make the same mistake twice. If someone has not been treating you with love and respect and it has been going on for some time, then you are wasting your time waiting for that person. In my experience there are 2 kinds of women who stay in relationships like these. The ones that are addicted to the physical and emotional intensity of the relationship and the ones who just don't know any better yet. If my guy stops treating me right it's usually brief and it usually has to do with something that's bothering him and he will eventually tell me about it and apologize. This guy you are taking about sounds weak and insecure. Spending any time with him will just delay the amount of time it takes you to find a strong, confident, secure, and honest guy that is into you and has respect for you. When you find him you will know what I mean. Don't sacrifice any more of your self-respect. Life is too precious to be wasted.

Yes this is definitely an ending, because if you feel much stronger and better without him, then you have definitely moved on. It seems to me you are a very strong woman. I give you props. I was in a relationship like that for eight months and the last time he did something wrong, I felt so relieved to be without him in my life and I am sorry to say but feeling relieved and not hurt tells you that you are way over him. So hun go out start having fun and don't worry about him. You seem to have a head on your shoulders and know what you want, and with that you will find a man that does treat you right. Have Fun

You sound confused and still not sure, Love is a funny thing, You want him to change so bad so u can love him, but he just won't seem to do that, and yet you still give him another chance and your wondering to yourself WHY! I can feel for you and somewhat understand, but I should tell you don't start another relationship until you finish the first one, because if you think that's gonna help, it won't. It may even make things worse than they are. No one can really help you until you decide what is right for you. Like I said I can feel for you, I went through a similar thing. It hurts. You my dear are a masochist and a glutton for punishment...WHY would anyone go back for the same krap and lies 30 times? That's not love, it's insanity.
If you're not tired of it yet, then (pardon me for saying) you are getting what you deserve for returning yourself to the situation...you had no right to cut up his clothing, it was YOU who kept going back and expecting the leopard to change its spots...
Grow up, get some self respect, and stop wasting time with someone who isn't worth any...this life is too short for that nonsense and according to you, you've blown two and a half years of it...

it's over for you and that's what is important, don't take his calls or talk to him. He thinks you are a sucker and he will not be easy to get rid of but just remember "there's nothing cold as ashes after the fire is gone" find a new man that will appreciate you because you deserve that. There's someone out there somewhere and you are better off without this leach.

uh....are you me? sounds to much the same.
i think you are getting to your end of how much abuse you can take. good for you. stay strong and the more you are not around him the more it will be over. their is a person that will treat you with respect out there and wont make you feel you are losing your mind. it doesnt have to be that way. it is abuse. it wont change. not with you anyways, sorry but that is the facts. this could be your ending of suffering, this is all up to you. stay strong and watch you succeed and find yourself again. love yourself and learn the red flags for the next jerk that happens to want to be with you. To me i think your finished with him and good on ya, you don't need a relationship based on lies, you need one with trust and honesty or not one at all. I think after braking up so many times you would have had to lost respect for eachother.
I think its over and girl keep getting stronger and find someone that is gonna love you in a way that he doesn't have to lie about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow it sounds like your talking about my life with my ex.. you know it's over when you think of him and you just don't feel at all.. or worse you may feel hatred for wasting your time on something so useless only becuase it's always been so rocky, but sometimes its time to hop off the roller coaster and jump into a smooth automatic cadillac with the utmost in stability and control!! it's been so hard for me cause my freako actually got my heart and was the first to hurt me in a very long time but eventually you just harden up and realize that they aren't any fun anymore and your just wasting energy cycles.. change your routine and who knows who you may meet!
