I am in the middle of selling 3 of my properties to remodel my grandmothers home. It is a beautiful victorian home with 12 ft. ceilings, and 10 ft. columns it's a beautiful home but there are a few problem with this home. I have one small bathroom, it has no dining room, and 2 bedrooms; we use the foyer as a dining room. I want to go up with this house but I don't know if I can with the columns and the tall ceilings. I really would like to add another bathroom, another bedroom, and a dining room. I would like to make my master bedroom, and bathroom and upstairs and turn my bedroom downstairs into a guest room. Can I do this at a reasonable price?

you really need to call a contractor & get an estimate. it all depends upon who, where, size & products used. it also depends upon what you consider to be a reasonable price!!!

I am a Home improvement contractor. Its hard to give an estimate without a plan. First , figure out your budget. Second design and layout accordding to desires.Third get estimates. Your only going to have so much money. Decide where you want to spend it. You might not be able to do everything.

If you are going to make an effort to duplicate the authentic moldings and flooring's, fixtures, doors; you are going to be paying possibly twice what it would cost to buy a home that would be already suited to your wants.

sounds like a extensive project.you will have to have plans drawn up.i wouldn't be surprised if it was in the 100k range
