satan will tempt us till the day we die, this does not mean we will fail.
If a person has the FULL ARMOUR of God on, they will not fail.
If a persons thoughts are continually on Christ, they will not fail.
Every temptation that comes to you, God allows a path out it. How is it, Most do not look for that path, but would rather choose to commit sin, then ask for forgiveness afterwards. EVERY temptation that comes at you, YOU ARE ABLE TO BARE IT, Because Scriptures teach, that God will not allow satan to tempt you ABOVE what you are able to handle. Therefore every sin that you do, you could have stopped from it, but you FAILED to look for that path out, which God gave you with each of your temptations.
Have a problem looking at porn on the computer, get rid of the computer.
What happened to Peter when he was walking on the water to Christ when he began to sink ? He looked away from Christ. IF your eyes are constantly on Christ, they will not be on sinful things.
Catch yourself thinking dirty thought, quickly turn to thinking of Christ, and not dwell upon such evil thinking.
NO MATTER what the sin is, God allows a path out for you, however most ( MOST ) do not seek it.
1Cor:10:13: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
You have no excuse by committing sin.
In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ

All the time: He can never last long, just short time.
Keep resisting and he will leave when he knows you will not give in
I will always say ... we are more than conqueror's through Christ who strengths us, and gave him self for us
By his stripes I am healed
2 Corinthians 10
1Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
2But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Satan is a defeated foe, resist the devil and he will flee from you
He is a deceiver and a liar, everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie.
He is the father of lies.
Be strong, be courageous, Satan goes about seeking whom he may be destroy, or those that will let him
Bless you........

One time I thought my satellite was out because my screen was all fuzzy with static. I was very upset because I was about to watch a pretty good football game. Then I realized that I just had the TV set to the wrong channel. It was on 3 instead of Aux. So then I changed the channel and was able to watch the game.
It only took me a minute to figure out, but it was a pretty challenging time for me. I was pretty psyched that I didn't sway to the devil on that one.

Here in YA when a mob of atheists began having a field day attacking Christianity it became glaringly apparent to me how despite a superficial tone of glibness, and perhaps beyond their own control, they spewed very evil and dark remarks yet themselves where unaware of their own deep and sad emptiness which was clear for anyone else to see. I did battle with them shining God's light and truth sometimes referring to His word which easily overpowered in understating and wisdom all their foolish innuendos and remarks. Essentially they where ensnared by their own traps.

I felt the devil's presence when answering a "Religion and Spirituality" question about atheists and got dissed by snake-handling fundamentalists.
I've only SEEN the effects of the devil once -- and it was in church one SUnday morning when ugly gossip was confirmed and a wave rippled through the church and bounced off the walls.
"Full bible" Christianity is the devil's playground, you know.

I wholeheartedly agree with Diciple Dave above.
I have seen evil in many persons, who practice seduction as an art form for their own gain/agenda and know but don't care they are behaving in an evil manner...and won't accept it when told so either.

There is no Devil. Only a sense of separateness from that which has all power leaving me with a feeling of "i gotta do this myself"
