It depends on how fast it happens. If slow enough life will evolve to use salt water and it might still have lots of life on land, otherwise the land will be dead but ocean life wil do well.

Are you expecting an end to rain? Even if there is global warming, doesn't that just mean more evaporation, more moisture in the air, more rain? Now if this question is some stupid homework question by some idiot teacher, the answer is Mars.
