Go appear before the judge. Take whatever proof you have to show that you were in the hospital at the time you were to appear in court. Driving with a suspended license is a scheduled fine where I live. You pay the fine, surcharges and court costs (under $1000). It depends on what the law in that state is regarding whether or not you can get your license back. Sometimes the law ties the judge's hands. You'd better have a very good reason for having been caught driving while suspended though. As in on your way to that hospital!

specific. you will incredibly relatively be issued with a license - interior the pc information basically - which would be suspended. in maximum circumstances, this is going to be a minimum of a year from the time you will possibly have in any different case hve have been given a valid license, and it relatively is until you swap 18. You probably have a warrant out. You need to set up a payment plan to pay off the warrant, then wait until the license suspension ends, pay the fine, and get your license back. You might want to call legal aid and ask if they can assist you.

Be honest. If you put it off and get stopped again it will be harder on you. It doesn't matter where you live. You will sooner or later get caught. It may take a little longer to get your privilages back but it will be worth not spending time in jail. Other than that talk with a lawyer.

Here in Australia, driving whilst under a suspended license equals immediate jail time for 3 months.
Turn yourself in, they will respect your disbility, the fact you havn't driven for serveral years and especially your honesty.

Turn yourself in, there is no other way. Also be prepared to pay big attorney fees and lots of fines. Then expect to pay through the nose for insurance.

The statue of limitations on this case has probably already ran out on this case after 7 years.

Just turn your self in. Your most likely going to get your fine raised for the failure to appear but thats it. Its just a minor case.

Well 1st YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO FREE TRAVEL IN THE UNITED STATES UNENCUMBERED!!! (many will disagree with me(and have) but I have beat this before.unforunately it takes lots of reseach. If you don't have year to spend at the legal libraries and have a warrant just turn yourself inexplain the situation and take proof of hospitalization)and get it over with. unless their charging you with habitual offender how bad could it be.......GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS.........OH almost forgot if you turn yourself in it shows good faith and they should continue your bond.I've done it many times.....HEY I was busy..lmao.....antother factor is to see if the stop was legal i.e did they just run your plate and it was expired (for instants)that violates 4th ammenment(you have to be doing something wrong/illegal for them to pull you overI had (I had a cop pull me over because he said he knew everyone that lived on that road, and I didn't belong there....SEE 1ST STATEMENT I MADE.....Well 1st YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO FREE TRAVEL IN THE UNITED STATES UNENCUMBERED!!!) Your options besides turning yourself in are hiring a lawyer and waiting till they find you. If you wait till they find you, they will be happy to see you, but you won't.
