My neighbor and her family will be moving out of state soon due to a job transfer. Even though our daughters play together I am not really that sad to see her go because she calls me at least once a day to repeat the same thing she told me the previous day (forgetting she had told me). It's usually something she is bragging about that she has told me 10 times before. We get along well but she can be lacking in common sense, sending her hyperactive kids down the street to come to my house to play without calling. I will miss her yet part of me won't. Isn't that bad?

No, don't feel bad. There are people we get along with, and people we do not. You tried, unconsciously, or consciously, to get along for the sake of your kids. We can't all be friends. Wish her well, and if she wants to keep in touch, just tell her to use E-mail or the US mail, because it is cheaper. And that gives you the out, not to have to have lengthy phone conversations with her until she finds new friends. And she will.
Hope the new neighbors will be calmer, and in better control of their kids.
And they will bring a new opportunity to assuage any guilt you have about not missing the old neighbor. Take a plate of goodies, or a gift certificate to the new ones, and make friends.
Good luck.

Why feel bad? People come into our lives for a reason, some will stay and some will move on. Your interaction with this woman was more social rather than anything deeply connected so wish her well and enjoy what good memories you have.

That's not bad. Not all of you has to miss her. If you had somewhat of a good relationship, missing her a little bit is adequate. If you had somewhat of a good relationship and you don't miss her at all, then that would be a little bad.
If you didn't like her at all, no point in wasting energy on missing people.

It's not bad if you don't really care for her. Although it's kinda sad to see that she trusted you, talked to you, and probably considered you a friend, yet you don't care. That's kind of heartless on your part.

Please sweety it's not that serious. Not like she's your best friend or someone you acually liked her enough. She is a what people call an associate. You like her enough to put up her in doses but not enough to be considered a friend. No it's not bad. Say your fair thee wells and be done with it.

No, it's not bad. Why are you wasting your time feeling guilty? They're moving, so they don't care what you think about them anyway. Forget about it.

People are different. Be relieved she is going, but keep in mind, it could be worse.
