Computer viruses can affect us both via our personal computers and companies' computers.

You undoubtedly depend on your PC a great deal as you use it to do your homework as well as perhaps for entertainment. Your quality of life is definitely affected when you are restrained in either one.

If someone deals with a company over the computer, even if it is just to pay bills, they are very much affected if there is a virus. The information they have entered or the record of their payment could be lost. They may also lose their privacy or have their identity stolen.

So, yes, I think you are very much up to date in addressing this topic.

I am not sure what you are asking! If you are asking if this is a good topic for an essay, "yes" it definitely is. You said you "wrote it do my essay" but you are not clear at all what you mean. If your essay is not clearer than your question, then it is "out of point" because you have not made a point!

If you are seeking material for an essay about how viruses effect our quality of life, read some articles at sites such as CNet that cover the subject daily.

Empirical research shows me the existence of computer viruses effect our lives. At work, there are formal rules and regulations that must be complied with to insure the company's data system is not degraded. That affects the quality of life of everyone at work. We have to change work methods to make sure the rules are followed. We have to endure constant monitoring and the ensuant tension.

At home, I have laid down rules for the family's use of my computer to protect my personal data and my computer system. That affects the quality of life of everyone in the household. I must keep after everyone to make sure they are complying with my rules and I have to make certain I set the right example.

A few years ago my home computer was affected by a virus and crashed every time I tried to connect to the Internet! That certainly affected my quality of life!
