i used proactive, accutane, you name it .. in me, nothing worked, or overdried my skin ... a friend of mine gave me as a gift arbonne clear advantage and this helped me out so much ... it cleared my complection and now i can say bye bye acne ... and i really had a bad case of acne .... tried every medication, every product available and every trreatment at salons and nothing ... i would say that compared to proactive the treatment i used, #1 did not overdry my skin.... #2 the improvement is visible in about 2 weeks and #3 compared to the price $66 for a 4 step system ... i would have to say .. check them out ... i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com and they stand by their money back guarantee...

I personally have never used it, as I am one of the lucky few that has always had very clear and clean skin. My best friend however does use it. At first she got some irritation. We asked my Aunt about it, since she is a nurse, and she said that more often than not, when you start using something like Proactive, an irritation is common because your skin/body is not use to it. She told her (my best friend) that if it didn't get better after 2 weeks of use, to discontinue using it. Now her face is acne free and she swears to it to anyone that asks. My husband started using it a month ago, and so far no irritation and his skin has started clear up.

Just remember, it may not work the same for everyone. Give it a little longer and if you don't feel it is getting any better, then stop using it.

it actually works great, but the mask is the worst and is difficult to remove, so I stopped using it. If you broke out, your best bet is to order things either by neutrogena or mary kay. another option is a chinese herbal cleanse, and it will definitely get you together. by the time you finish, your skin will be so healthy you won't need lotion or oil after the shower and my skin was flawless...people thought I had make up on. the good thing about it is that not only does it remove impurities, but it replaces the nutrients you would receive by what you can't eat during the process. go to naturessunshine.com and look for Tao He Cleanse

Yes, it did. It totally dried out my face to the point of it peeling and having to use moisturizer. Then, the moisturizer made me break out. I have found something that works, is available in stores, doesn't dry out your skin, and actually clears up acne. It's called Acne Free and is a competitor to Proativ. It costs around $6 for a big bottle. Try it....it works!!

It really dried my skin out the first week I used it, I started using it twice a day but it was too much. So I started again once every 2 days for 2 weeks then once a day for 4 weeks then I could use it twice every day. Stick it out, good luck.

You obviously need a good acnecare solution for tighter pores, but you just can't use any labels or product lines. Much better, if you'll seek for an expert's advice or even browse this site http://www.upkb.com/acnecare.php if you want to learn more about different skincare treatments and products available.

I think you should either start slow with your use and work up or else stop it altogether. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend stopping. You shouldn't be exfoliating on a daily basis and then following with a lotion that burns and dries you out.

it shouldn't burn your face...you should stop or it will make your face worse! proactiv only work on some type of skin I can't use proactiv I will alway edn up with a tomato face....and it will make more acne to breakout..

yeah it did. it's sad because it's so geared to dry you up and irritate it to get rid of acne, it doesnt get specialized towards your type of face. i stopped using proactiv because of my facial issues after i started using it, hopefully it doesnt last like that for you. if it does, try a dermotologist, my acne went away almost right away after seeing my dermotologist and they told me proactiv is too tough for most skin types. good luck
