I suffer from anxiety, according to my doctor. I usually get irritable, angry, my blood pressure and pulse rate start to rise, and a lot of times, especially if I am driving, I am yelling so loud that I believe most people can hear me, even with the windows closed. If I am really mad, I get red in the face and I start getting dizzy because I have gotten myself so worked up. I am now on some medication to control anxiety and some herbs to help combat stress.
You may have the beginning symptoms of anxiety, which could be caused by severe stress, like in my case. I have never been itchy, but different people experience some different reactions.

Anxiety can be caused by worrying over something you have no control over. Sometimes you may not be aware of just how anxious you are. It can present in many ways. Itching is very possibly from anxiety. Sometimes it makes you feel like something is going to happen and you don't know what. It is not a very pleasant feeling. I don't have any idea about whether yours could be anxiety or not, because I know nothing about you, but if you feel that you have something to be that worried about, talk to your doctor.

I've had anxiety attacks on and off for years but to me it felt like your heart was beating really fast and you were just sitting there. One time I ended up in the hospital b/c it felt like someone was sitting on my chest but it ended up being anxiety. There are alot of situations that can make you irritable, but I'm not sure about the itching.

Anxiety is caused by stress. Stress can occur at any age and can cause a wide variety of symptoms. Stress is unfortunately the norm in our society these days and we all have to deal with it in the best way that we can.

It's a combination of fear and nervousness. It is like you are so scared you are ready to jump out of your skin. It's even hard to sit still. Being irritable or itchy has nothing to do with it.

It's hard to say what it is, but it's not normal. I would recommend a chat with the doctor and see what he says. He can either help or refer you to somebody who can.
